The Hand-in-Hand Approach

Child Development

As an Early Interventionist, I support parents in understanding developmental milestones and creating realistic, meaningful goals for their child. I provide practical strategies tailored to each family’s routines and priorities, so parents can confidently respond to their child’s changing needs. My approach emphasizes hands-on coaching, progress monitoring, and celebrating small steps that lead to long-term gains.

Autism Intervention

As an Autism Interventionist, I work directly with children to build social skills, communication, and emotion regulation in ways that respect their unique strengths and challenges. Interventions are individualized, combining play-based learning, visual supports, and structured routines to foster connection and independence. Caregiver involvement is central: I teach techniques that help generalize skills across home, school, and community settings.

Neurodiversity Coach

As a certified Neurodiversity Coach, I enjoy supporting neurodivergent parents and caregivers in developing their own sensory processing strategies, emotion regulation, and daily living skills. Coaching focuses on self-awareness, pragmatic tools for managing energy and stress, and building environments that reduce sensory overload. By supporting caregiver wellbeing alongside child-focused interventions, families gain resilience and a more sustainable path forward.

Bridging the Gaps

Our strategies and supports do not replace medical advice or therapeutic recommendations. Hand-in-Hand Neurodiverse Care bridges the gap between “What now?” and “We made it!” by offering practical, in-home autism support, parent coaching, and respite tailored to your family’s needs—helping you move from uncertainty to confidence with compassionate, evidence-informed guidance every step of the way.

Who We Are

Hand-in-Hand Neurodiverse Care has been intentionally created to meet you where you are at! We provide in-home play-based early intervention services, respite and parent coaching for families with children who may be neurodiverse.

We believe in advocating and practicing a “social-model” of care which focuses on adapting societal and environmental barriers. We believe that intervention is about finding ways to adapt the environment rather than force compliance.

Hand-in-Hand Neurodiverse Care is evidence-based practice. Our Neurodiversity Coach has been trained in various autism intervention strategies and helps you and your family navigate through diagnosis, treatment, and next steps. We help families meet joint attention, play, engagement and regulation goals. We do not provide medical diagnosis or replace the advice of medical professionals.
